With your permission, SafeStarr uses foreground and background location to provide navigation, nearby safety alerts, route awareness, SOS features, and destination notifications. You may disable location permissions, though some features may not function.
SafeStarr aggregates public safety information from government agencies and licensed third-party providers, including crime incidents, registered sex offender information, historical sundown town locations, emergency notifications, traffic incidents, and community reports.
Information is sourced from public registries through licensed providers. It is provided for informational purposes only, is not identity verification, is not a background check, and should not be used as the sole basis for employment, housing, credit, insurance, or other eligibility decisions.
We use information to operate the app, authenticate users, provide navigation and safety alerts, improve services, prevent fraud, and respond to support requests.
